Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 19, 2026
StackTrack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data collection, use, and disclosure practices for the StackTrack mobile application (the "App").
1. Data Collection and Storage
We believe your financial data is your business. StackTrack is built with a "Local-First" architecture. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or financial data. All inventory data, purchase history, and custom settings entered into the App are stored entirely locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not maintain any cloud servers or user accounts.
2. Third-Party Services & APIs
To provide live market valuations, the App makes outbound requests to third-party data providers. These outbound requests do not contain any of your personal data, inventory details, or identifiable device information. They are strictly one-way requests for market pricing.
3. Data Security
StackTrack utilizes your device's native biometric hardware (such as Apple FaceID or TouchID) via the device's Secure Enclave to restrict access to the App. We do not have access to your biometric data; this authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system.
4. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use any third-party analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that harvest user data.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
